Lebanon is a member of the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property. They are also a member of several international organizations and agreements including the World Intellectual Property Organization, which they officially joined in 1986. Lebanon follows the Ninth Edition of the International Classification of Goods and Services for the Purposes of the Registration of Marks under the Nice Agreement.
