The Directorate of Foreign Trade and Industrial Property at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MOIC) in the Kingdom of Bahrain has issued an administrative circular confirming that the national trademark registry now applies the 13th edition of the Nice Classification. From 1 October 2026, every new trademark application filed through the MOIC digital portal must use the class headings, lists of transferred goods and services, and explanatory notes set out in this revision.
