Job Overview:

The SEM, SEO & Reach Specialist is responsible for enhancing the company's online visibility through a combination of paid search strategies, organic search optimization, and audience reach initiatives. This role involves managing and optimizing search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns, improving organic search engine rankings (SEO), and expanding the company’s digital footprint to engage target audiences effectively. The ideal candidate is data-driven, has strong analytical skills, and excels in both paid and organic digital marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Search Engine Marketing (SEM):
 

  • Develop, implement, and manage SEM strategies across platforms like Google Ads, Bing Ads, and social media ad platforms. 
  • Conduct keyword research, optimize ad copy, and manage bidding strategies to maximize ROI. 
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, and continuously optimize based on data insights. 
  • Implement A/B testing to improve ad performance and drive conversions.


Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
 

  • Perform keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for organic growth. 
  • Optimize website content, meta tags, images, and links to improve search engine rankings. 
  • Work closely with content teams to ensure SEO best practices are applied to website copy, blog posts, and other digital content. 
  • Monitor SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.


Audience Reach & Engagement:
 

  • Develop strategies to expand the company’s digital reach through various channels, including social media, influencer partnerships, and content distribution. 
  • Identify and engage with target audiences using data analytics, segmentation, and personalized messaging.
  •  Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to create and promote content that resonates with the audience and encourages engagement.


Reporting & Analytics:
 

  • Analyze website traffic, SEM/SEO campaign data, and audience reach metrics to identify trends and opportunities. 
  • Create detailed reports on campaign performance, including KPIs such as CTR, CPC, CPA, conversion rates, and organic search rankings. 
  • Make recommendations based on insights to improve SEM/SEO strategies and overall digital performance.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing SEM and SEO campaigns.
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and other digital marketing tools.
  • Strong understanding of keyword research, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
  • Knowledge of audience segmentation and targeting techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Google Ads or Google Analytics.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and website optimization.
  • Familiarity with programmatic advertising and other digital marketing channels (e.g., social media ads, display ads).
